What You Should Do After an Accident to Help Your Whiplash Settlement
If you want the best chances of having a successful result in your whiplash settlement, there are several things that you should do immediately after your crash. These are simple actions, but they will make your case much easier and give the insurance company less ability to cast doubt on your claim and offer you less as a settlement.
First, you should always immediately seek medical treatment after the accident if you feel like you have been injured in any way. Finally, you’ll want to make sure that you keep the details of the crash right in your head. As soon as you can after the accident write down everything you remember about the accident, including any diagrams your can draw. This will make sure that you have accurate, concise, detailed information any time that you are questioned about the accident and you don’t change your story.
