What to look for in a fish scale
Most electrical fish scales are splash and shock resistant, so it won’t have a rough time on your glove compartment or tackle box. Most scales purchased at the sports stores are ideal for fishing, helping avoid scales that were not made for traveling, or for quickly weighing parcels and packages. Scale is particularly useful in the seafood department to keep mess from collecting on the counter. Scale is a precision instrument. With normal care and proper treatment, it will provide years of reliable service. Never load the scale with more than the maximum capacity. Overloading will permanently damage it. One nice scale is the quantum hanging scale which permits easy access to the entire meat/seafood case. In addition, the pan is easily removed from the hanger for cleaning.
