Skateboarders are often not associated with being particularly environmentally friendly or worried about their environment. More often than not they are seen as kids wearing hoodies who trash our inner city landscapes. The fact remains vegan skaters do exist. Being vegan does not simply relate to what is eaten but also to other parts of our lives. Leather is not allowed as it comes from animals. The fashion industry uses leather just about everywhere now and finding a pair of shoes that dont use any leather is pretty tricky.
