Topical Steroids Side Effects

When you have Dermatitis, most of the times the treatment consists in applying topical steroid creams on the skin, this however must be done with care, as there are topical steroids side effects worth knowing about.

Among the side effects we have: Tachyphylaxis (tolerance to topical steroids), steroid rosacea, skin atrophy, stretch marks, and alteration of infection, topical steroid allergy and glaucoma.  As you can see these creams are nothing to toy with, in the case of skin atrophy the effects are irreversible.

I suffer from seborrheic dermatitis and have used these creams sporadically.  However after stopping the use within a week or so the inflammation starts again.  What to do? I have researched quite a bit in the topic, and have found hat goat milk can be of help.  Do you have any experience with this?
