That Coffee Table with Lift Top Idea
“Josh! You’ve got to see this! C’mere!” Alyssa yelled from her bedroom. Lazily, Josh wandered in about ten minutes later.
“What’ve I got to see?”
“Remember that idea you had, years ago? That coffee table with lift top idea?” Alyssa asked urgently.
“Umm. Yeah, I guess so. So what?” Josh was barely interested. The two of them were always coming up with impossible imaginary inventions, since they were little.
Alyssa’s excitement was not dimmed by his apathy. “Somebody used it! They made it! They took your idea and are making millions!”
Josh looked up from his fingernails. Could it be? “Let me see. Where? Where’d you see it?” Alyssa handed him the home magazine, and there it was. His invention, fully diagrammed and advertised for sale. Bummer.
