Teaching With Letter Beads
I am going to teach with Letter Beads! I am going to have them make jewelry and work on spelling at the same time. Kinda creative, huh? I have decided instead of having a specified craft time and a specified spelling time, I will combine the two times for ultimate benefit.
Instead of making a plastic craft or rather having the kids make crafts that look like they were made by kids, I am going to spend a few dollars and have them make something that looks GREAT! I am investing in some pewter letter beads. I will go ahead and buy the leather cording and with one end finished and then I will let them use the blocks to spell their name. Then all we have to do is add a few more colorful beads and finish the other end and we will have a custom alphabet bead bracelets for the whole class.
