Nintendo revolutionized the video gaming world by introducing the Nintendo Wii, a video game system that allowed you to control on screen by not just pressing buttons on a controller, but by actually moving the controller around and having the video game mimic your movements. Then, in another steps that has revolutionized the video gaming world, the Nintendo announced the Wii Fit, a game that was coupled with what they call the balance Board, that allows you to get real time feedback on various workout activities on screen. In fact, the Wii Fit has sold copies than have been sold of the Xbox 360 console and the Playstation 3 console! Obviously, Nintendo has something popular on their hands. Then, as with most video games, companies started coming out with various Wii Fit accessories. I am going to talk about a few of them, and you can decide which ones you like best.

There were battery packs and stuff to extend the life of the balance board as well as offer Wii Fit rechargeable battery options so that you don’t waste batteries. There were also skins and covers for the Wii Fit that allowed you to further customize how it looks, and some of them even added grip.

One of the popular products was the Wii Fit workout kits. They usually included an extra battery, some sort of skin or cover, a yoga mat, and some extra fancy workout item that really had nothing to do at all with the Wii Fit.

Lately though, companies have realized that coming out with fitness related items for the Wii Fit would pay off nicely. A few companies came out with risers that you could put underneath the balance board like a platform to give you that additional workout that stepping onto a platform provides. They also made little shells for the Wii remote that have 2.5 and 5 pound weights in them to give you even more of a workout.
