How many times have you been wowed by some crazy martial artist smashing a thousand boards into pieces with his bare hands? I think wood breaking (or the art of breaking in general) is one of the coolest parts of the martial arts and doing it with martial arts weapons is often times even more exciting. There are a few choice weapon picks that will give you the most bang for your buck when trying to break things with them and they are as follows:

The escrima: It’s little but it packs a punch. When you’re breaking you want to focus your energy into a single point and the escrima stick is good for that.

Nunchaku: Bruce Lee does this amazing thing with Nunchucks. He’s always smashing something or another with them and you can really pack a wallop into those little things. Just build up momentum a little bit and let one fly towards the board. It will splinter easily.
