Stock Market Books and Warren Buffett

The stock market is like a rollercoaster. It goes up and it comes down. But why is it then that some people make money (a lot of it) over the course of their investing lifetimes? Warren Buffett is obviously a great example of this. But some of his buddies have also had some spectacular track records, and have luckily recorded their thinking in the best stock market books that have ever been written. You might think that why would someone who knew something about the market want to give it away in a book, but these authors generally know that almost no one is actually going to steal and implement their ideas. That’s just the way most investors are unfortunately. Nevertheless, for the shrewd among us it gives us a great opportunity to learn from the greats who have gone before us.
