Solar Powered Outdoor Lighting is a Great Option
We recently installed solar powered spotlights on our fish pond and can now enjoy our pond at night as well as in the daytime. If you have discounted using solar patio lights because you thought they wouldn’t be bright enough or wouldn’t last very long, you need to check out the solar lights that are available today. Solar technology has improved over the last few years and the lighting that is available now is amazingly functional. There are also an increasing number of styles available in solar fixtures, so you really have no reason not to give them a try.
One of the main ways that solar lighting has improved is through the use of LED bulbs in place of the previously used small incandescent bulbs. LED’s are energy efficient taking less solar power for the lighting they provide, provide brighter light output and they also last much longer than incandescent bulbs. If you tried solar lighting in the past and were disappointed, give it another try. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
