Sending Faxes via the Internet
There are two different ways that you can send fax via internet, and both of them have their pros and cons. The decision on which one works best for you comes down to personal preference and what sort of equipment you have available in your workplace. The first way of sending fax via email is to use a software program that links your email software to your modem. When you to this, it’s simply a matter of composing the fax in your email client and selecting the fax option. Obviously, if you use this method you will need a modem installed on your computer, and you will have to pay for the dialup fee.
The other option is to open up an account with an online fax service provider. When you do this, you pay a monthly fee for the privilege of using their service. You can then send as many faxes as you want. Sending uses a similar process, except you usually send the fax as an attachment to your service provider, who then sends it off to the intended recipient.
