My Colorless Black Venetian Blinds
The color black is a funny color, because it’s not really a color at all, at least that’s what my local curtain shop salesman says. See, I went down there to pick up some black venetian blinds. The guy comes up and asks me if he can help me, and I tell him yes, I’m after some blinds. He asks me what color I’m after and I say “black”. The guy then goes into this huge rant about how black is not a color, but is the absence of color.
I didn’t need a science lesson from the guy, I just wanted to buy some blinds. So after a half an hour of not getting anywhere I made up an excuse and got out of there as quick as I could. Some people really need to be taught how to interact with their customers. I ended up buying my blinds on the Internet. They look great, and I don’t really care whether they are a color or not.
