Man-Made Jewelry or Natural?
Not everyone of us can afford to deck ourselves out with expensive jewelry. It’s just one of those luxuries only the truly rich can indulge in. But there are alternatives to the natural gemstones that take millions of years for the earth to create and cost thousands of dollars for us to buy. That alternative is cubic zirconia.
Cubic zirconia (aka “CZ”) is a gemstone created in the laboratory. The process that creates a CZ stone is a streamlined, time-tested set of techniques that can render a man-made gemstone that resembles just about anything Mother Nature can create. You can find CZ rubies, CZ sapphires, and or course, CZ diamonds – and more. And these laboratory creations can be cut and mounted into settings just like any of the finest stones you’ll find in a jewelry store.
In a lot of cases, CZ jewelry has more of a brightness and shine then the natural stones it’s emulating. This is in part because these scientific creations have virtually no flaws whereas real stones do. Oh, and cubic zirconia jewelry always costs less (a lot less) than natural gemstone jewelry. So if you were thinking about buying that special someone something in diamonds, why not save some money and buy a cubic zirconia piece instead? Say, a cubic zirconia necklace for instance. It’s really a no-brainer. Man-made cubic zirconia wins hands down.
