Breast cancer is number one causes of death among women nowadays. So, routing checkup is a must to get away of from this deadly disease. As we all know, ultrasound machine is widely used for detecting breast abnormalities including cancer in early stage. On the other hand, mammography tests play as vital role as ultrasound for detecting breast cancer. Digital mammography uses computer-aided detection (CAD) and full-field digital mammography (FFDM) to produce accurate images. This procedure is classified as non-invasive. However, unlike ultrasound technology, it uses x-rays in low doses and release ionizing radiation during the process. As a matter of fact, mammography tests and breast ultrasound are capable to produce images of cysts, malignant and benign lesions in the results. As a conclusion, mammography tests and beast ultrasounds are both good techniques for detecting breast cancer.
