Remember this rule of thumb that whenever you figure in an accident within the coverage of the Accidental Death Insurance plan, the insurance company will award your claim if you:
Loose a member of your body – a hand, foot, one eye, one ear
Keep in mind that another rule works here – the 50-50 rule that loose one limb get 50% of the benefit, loose both, you get the entire benefit.
Be partially paralyzed
The 25-50 rule works here. Should you loose function of your body part that remained to be intact at the time of the accident, you can claim the corresponding % of the benefit.
