How Serious Can Hypotension Get?
If you are familiar with hypertension, then you should know that hypotension is exactly the opposite condition. In it, there is not enough pressure against the walls of the arteries, and this means that a less volume of blood is circulating through our bodies? How does this affect us? It affects us because this means there is less blood reaching organs as important as the heart and the brain.
When you have low blood pressure you’ll feel dizziness and fainting, this occurs specially when there is a sudden drop of blood pressure. In these cases it is good to note that hypotension can be really dangerous. If you ever feel a sudden drop of blood pressure due to dehydration, blood loss or other event, you need to call emergency immediately and get proper low blood pressure treatment.
