Hand Painted TV Tray Tables
Artemise gave me one of those adorable hand painted TV tray tables. She knew how much I loved them. I’ll have to admit that I was pretty open about how much I liked them and how I wished I could paint like that. She even let me pick my favorite. I chose the one about the country mouse and the city mouse. They were cousins, you know, and the city mouse invited the country mouse to visit her. The city mouse lived in a mansion with cooks and maids and other servants, even a gardener who planted hollyhocks in the garden. The city mouse had a beautiful place under the baseboard in the dining room, a wonderful location after the family of the house had guests for dinner. The country mouse was amazed when her cousin introduced her to the leftovers on the dining table. She had never seen such a profusion of goodies.
