Dealing with Chest Acne

When people get acne on any place other than the face, their first reaction is usually to freak out. Everyone knows about pimples on the face, but when it happens elsewhere they think it has to be from not taking care of their hygiene properly. While bad hygiene can be one of the causes of chest acne, often times it has nothing to do with it.

Most people do not know that chest and back acne are very common problems. They are caused by the same things as face acne, and the treatment is also very similar. The main difference is that this area will be constantly covered by clothing, so you need to choose what you wear wisely. Tight fitting or non-breathable fabrics will only serve to worsen the condition, so try to avoid these if possible.

When you are picking out a product to treat your acne, try to find one that is specially formulated for treating the body. These products will usually be a bit stronger, because the skin on our bodies are much more resilient than the skin on our face.
