* Twice a day, apply aloe vera juice onto your blemishes to help speed up their healing tim

* Make a paste with plain old baking soda and water. Gently massage it on, then let it sit for several minutes before removing

* Blend a cucumber and use the juice like a mask, leaving it on for half an hour

* If you’re staying home, rub a lightly crushed garlic clove on your zits

* Try washing your face with warm salty water for an oil-free finish
