A Blue Themed Nursery
If you are deciding how to decorate a nursery for a baby boy don’t discount using blue crib sets because you think the color is over used for baby boys. While blue is the traditional color associated with a baby boys nursery, there are lots of ways to do a blue nursery that will make it look fresh and exciting and not like just another boring blue nursery.
One of my favorite choices is a medium shade of blue combined with white. Many different nursery themes will work well with this color combo. From beach and ocean themes, moon and stars as well as others. Of course baby blue and white will also work, but that tends to be the look that moms don’t want when you mention a blue nursery.
Brown combines well with many shades of blue. Using chocolate brown as an accent to various shades of blue from light to dark brings an updated and usually very modern look to the nursery.
Another idea that is different is to find bedding that uses any other color as the main color scheme and simply accent with blue.
